Oops, I did it again. Yeah I caved in. I ate a sourdough burger from Jack in the Box. Sometimes you just think of something and it stays in your mind for the whole day. Making you want it and crave it. Michael Pollan, a respected author on nutrition, stated that our bodies crave sugar and fat. I can attest to that because I crave sugar and fat like crazy. Sometimes I just want a Venti Caramel Frappuccino! Today I took my mom to Denny’s Diner and again I had a sticky bun pancake meal. I didn’t finish it though, I picked off it. Even so, I picked off the food when I told myself I wasn’t.

I think I have to stick to a diet that will give me more energy and stray away from the western diet meat, dairy, and carbs. As humans we have evolved to the point where our foods are so processed we can chew them without a problem. If I was to take out a chunk from a cow I would have a hard time chewing the meat because my teeth weren’t meant to chew raw meat. Of course I can eat it once I’ve chewed it for a good minute but compared to when it’s ground up cooked and reheated? Easier to eat I would say.

I’m looking into a plant-based diet. Commonly known as Veganism. Yeah me considering being a Vegan. I love chicken and cheese. The best there is. But can I do it. Can I last? I’ll try it for a week and see what happens.
